Types of G.E.T ground bonding tools

The grounding tool (G.E.T) is the part that comes into contact with the ground or other materials during the operation of the equipment. These tools can absorb a lot of impact for the machine and can also assist in moving, cutting and grading materials. These tools are usually detachable. Therefore, when a tool is damaged, you can purchase a replacement, and you can continue to work. Here are a few different types of ground bonding tools.

Grader blade

The grader blade can increase the soil penetration and breaking capacity of the bulldozer, which can increase productivity and move more materials in a shorter period of time. You can also use the tractor grader blade with tools such as cutting edges and end bits in order to obtain better benefits.

Adapter

The excavator bucket adapter can work well on loaders, excavators and scrapers. The different levels of the tip of the excavator tooth adaptor penetrate into the soil, making the machine easy to dig. And you can use them with bolted bucket teeth and welding excavator bucket teeth. They have played an important role in mining, forestry, and construction applications that require strong breakthrough capabilities.

Bucket tips

Tips are important parts of the machine, used in excavator buckets and wheel loaders. Tips can not only improve the strength and penetration ability, but also absorb vibration to extend the service life of the machine. The bucket can be equipped with a Ground Engagement Tool (GET) or a set of GETs to help protect the bucket and other earth-moving tools from wear. Generally, GET can be in the form of teeth, edge protectors, tips, or other detachable components that can be attached to buckets or other tools where the most destructive and repeated wear and impact occurs. For example, a GET in the form of an edge protector can wrap around the cutting edge of a bucket to help protect it from excessive wear.

End bits

The cutter can be used for cutting during paving and dismantling. There are many specifications of the flat end drill bits for you to choose from. You can optimize this tool according to the material you face at work, the cutting depth and the power of the machine.

Cutting edge

The cutting edge is ideal for box graders and tow behind box scrapers. They have different shapes, widths and thicknesses, so you can customize the selection according to your unique indexing and scraping requirements. They can be curved with jagged edges to increase their ability to penetrate the soil, or they can be flat to reduce impact and wear.

Ripper

Rippers are ideal for bulldozers, skid steer graders and scrapers. They smash materials with extremely high efficiency while providing long-lasting protection for the machine body.

Side bars and edge protectors

Side bars and edge protectors can be used on wheel loaders to prevent impacts and reduce wear. They help minimize machine damage and extend the life of the machine.

Wear protection

Wear protection components (for example, wedge rods, rolling rods, wear buttons and wear blocks) protect the machine from wear. They usually have two adhesive layers to provide maximum protection.
