How to Treat the Excavator Hydraulic Pump Wear?

The serious wear and tear of excavator hydraulic pump has a fatal influence on excavator with bucket. Therefore, when such problems occur in excavator parts, they must be solved in time. When maintaining the hydraulic pump of excavator, find the reason for the failure from the following three points.

 

 

Check the Boom Cylinder for Internal Leakage

The simplest method is to lift the hitch lift arm and see if it has a significant free fall. If the drop is obvious, remove the cylinder for inspection. If the sealing ring has been worn, it should be replaced.

 

 

Check Control Valve

First, clean the safety valve casting, and check the valve core for wear. If it is worn, replace it. If there is still no change after the installation of the safety valve, check the wear of the operating valve core again. The clearance limit is generally 0.06mm, valve should be replaced when there is serious wear.

 

 

Measure the Pressure of Hydraulic Pump

If the pressure is low, adjust it. If the pressure can not be adjusted up, it means that the hydraulic pump parts are seriously worn.

General Boom Load Cannot be Lifted for the Following Reasons

(1) Excavator Hydraulic Pump is Seriously Worn

The leakage in the pump is serious at low speed. When running at high speed, the pump pressure increases slightly, but because of the wear and leakage of the excavator castings, the volumetric efficiency decreases significantly, and it is difficult to reach the rated pressure. Hydraulic pump working for a long time aggravates the wear, resulting in hydraulic components wear and seal aging, loss of sealing ability, hydraulic oil deterioration, and finally lead to failure.

 

(2) The Selection of Hydraulic Components is Unreasonable

The specification of the boom cylinder is 70/40 non-standard series, and the seals are also non-standard parts. The manufacturing cost is high and the seals are inconvenient to replace. The small diameter of the boom oil cylinder is bound to make the system set high pressure.

 

(3) The Design of the Hydraulic System is Unreasonable

Hydraulic pumps often work under full load or overload for a long time, and the system has hydraulic shock. If the oil is not changed for a long time and the hydraulic oil is polluted, it will aggravate the wear of the hydraulic pump, and the pump shell of the hydraulic cast steel pump parts will burst.

Improved Method and Effect

(1) Improve the Hydraulic System Design

After several demonstration, the final use of advanced priority valve and load sensing full hydraulic steering gear form. The new system will be able to prioritize traffic allocation to them according to steering requirements. No matter the load size, steering wheel speed high and low can ensure sufficient fuel supply. The remaining part can be fully supplied to the working device circuit, thus eliminating the power loss caused by excessive oil supply in the steering circuit, improving the system efficiency and reducing the working pressure of the hydraulic pump.

 

(2) Optimize the Design of Boom Cylinder and Hydraulic Pump Modeling. Reduce the working pressure of the system. Through the optimization calculation, the lifting force and speed of the arm boom cylinder are satisfied.

 

(3) Strengthen Routine Inspection and Maintenance

In the process of use, to avoid serious wear and tear of bucket excavator hydraulic pump, you should also pay attention to the correct use and maintenance of the loader, regularly add or replace the hydraulic oil, keep the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil, strengthen the daily inspection and maintenance.
