The uniformity should be good, and the gap between the sand particles should be reduced. Special attention should be paid to that the movement should be repaired in time after damage, and local looseness should not be caused by repair.
Pay attention to the setting of the pouring system and riser to avoid local overheating of the casting and mold. When designing the gating system, we should avoid direct punching of the die wall by the inner runner.
When pouring, appropriately reduce the pouring temperature, speed and height, which refers to reducing the impact and physical and chemical effects of the metal rod on the sand mold under the premise that the metal rod can be poured into the casting. To reduce the hydraulic, static pressure and thermal shock to the mold, we should pay attention to reducing the pouring height, upper mold height and the height of the sprue cup. For bucket tooth castings, although the wall thickness is not large, the pouring temperature is higher, which correspondingly prolongs the heat action time between the steel bar and the cavity surface. During pouring, the dynamic and static pressures of molten steel on the cavity are relatively large, creating conditions for mechanical penetration and sand sticking.
