How to Judge and Check the Fault When the Excavator Fails to Start?

In the operation of bucket excavators, it is a common condition that the excavator can't start the fire. There are many reasons for the failure, including the problems of excavator machinery accessories, most of which are circuit faults, followed by the faults of oil circuit and machinery engine parts itself. So how can we judge and check the fault?

Circuit Reason

Circuit failure causes the car not to start, which is mainly manifested in the failure to respond when the ignition switch is turned on or the starting motor speed is too low to feel powerless. If these two phenomena appear, it can be roughly judged as the starting circuit fault. How to check?

1. Check Battery Condition

Confirm the battery power status through the battery power observation hole. The blue color indicates that the battery power is normal, and the red color indicates that the battery power is insufficient. Check the circuit from the source. First check the battery pile head, clean the battery pile head, and then tighten the screw of the pile head. If there is no fault with the battery, check the circuit next. Check the battery circuit again to see if there is a broken circuit or loose connector.

2. Check Excavator Relay Fuse Box

Open the excavator relay box to check whether the connector is loose, and then open the fuse box to check whether the starting circuit fuse is burnt out.

Excavators with bucket start motor or generator failure can also lead to the car. Among them, the generator failure will lead to the generator can not generate electricity, battery power can not be replenished, resulting in low starting motor speed or do not run.

Causes of Oil Circuit

If the starting motor can be heard to rotate strongly when the starting key is turned on, and other bucket wheel excavator accessories such as caterpillar engines do not have abnormal mechanical friction sound, it is roughly determined as the cause of excavator oil circuit. Generally, it can be checked from the following steps:

1. Check if There is Enough Fuel

First, check whether there is oil in the tank. A car with a good fuel gauge can observe the fuel volume in the tank through the gauge.

2. Check Whether the Water Separator is Drained

After confirming that there is enough diesel in the fuel tank, the next step is to check the oil-water separator. If the quality of the oil used is not high, it may be unable to start up due to excessive moisture in the diesel oil.

3. Check Engine Air Emissions

After eliminating the cause of excessive moisture in the diesel and the problem of caterpillar excavator accessories, if the car can not be landed, the next step is to check whether the diesel is mixed with air. First, find the hand oil pump parts, loosen the vent bolt beside the hand oil pump, press the hand oil pump by hand until all the diesel oil comes out of the vent bolt lock, and then tighten the vent bolt to complete the air exhaust work.

4. Engine Failure

If the circuit and oil circuit are in good condition, it may be the engine fault. Generally, the probability of mechanical failure of diesel engine is low, once the failure occurs, the engine must be overhauled. Common engine machinery parts faults include cylinder pulling, tile burning and cylinder tamping. Generally speaking, the mechanical failure of the engine is premonitory, for example, the engine suddenly runs powerless in normal operation, or always emits black smoke, and the operation process is different.
